Larry D Parker, Sr, age 59, of Oswego, IL died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born August 29, 1954 in Deckerville, MI the son of the late Donald R Parker and Lois J nee Straffon. Larry was employed in the roofing industry his entire life and currently with Anthony Roofing in Aurora, IL as a service manager. Larry was devoted to his family and especially his grandchildren. Larry is survived by his wife Sona L nee Slover Parker, a daughter Rachel (Greg Moniuszko) Parker of Schaumburg, IL, a son Larry D (Jacqueline) Parker, Jr of Morton, IL, three grandchildren Madeline, Isabelle and Tyler Parker, a sister Penny (Jeff) Ford of Geneseo, IL, uncle Nick (Karen) Straffon of Algonac, MI. He was preceded also in death by his aunt Evelyn Hill. A gathering of family/friends will take place on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with a funeral service on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S.
