Norma J. (Tews) Lage, age 100, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away at Bickford of Oswego, IL. She was born June 11, 1921 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of William and Hazel nee Jones Tews. Norma was a member of the 1939 graduating class of East Aurora High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the offices of Schaefer's Greenhouse and Lyon Metal both in Montgomery, IL. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist in Yorkville. In her spare time she enjoyed scrapbooking, making greeting cards, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. She is survived by her children Gayla (Kenny) Nehmelman of Oswego, IL, Curtis (Shelley) Butler of Yorkville, IL, Kent Butler of Montgomery, IL, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Wilbert W. Butler (1981) and Nelson Lage (2007) and brother Eugene Tews. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 11:00 AM until a funeral service at 1:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL, 60543.
