Norma J. (nee Lewis) Frieders, age 85 years of Oswego, IL, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1932 in Aurora, IL. Norma married Albert G. Frieders at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Aurora, IL on August 2, 1952. Norma was a homemaker in her own home where she spent her time devoted to taking care of her children. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego and also enjoyed singing with the Palestina Choir and the Aurora Motherland Singers. She is survived by her husband Al, her sons Michael (Debra) Frieders of Gres Aus, MI, Donald (Linda) Frieders of Waterman, IL, Gary (Kimberley) Frieders of Waterman, IL, Tim (Debra) Frieders of Varna, IL, Jeffrey (Lynn) Frieders of Yorkville, IL and Scott (Sandra) Frieders of Minooka, IL, 8 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and step-sister Laura Marsh. She was preceded in death by her mother Eunice Lewis, a daughter Debora Frieders and her brother Jerry Lewis. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, April, 15, 2018 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL 60543. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
