Norma Lee Fisher, age 89, of Oswego, IL formerly a resident of Naples, FL. and Yorkville IL passed peacefully on April 4th. She was born July 28, 1928 in Ferndale, MI the daughter of the late Elmer and Geneva (Bradley) Bowman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Fisher after 57 years of marriage.
Norma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sugar Grove, IL. She served in many capacities in her church, including a two year service mission to Las Vegas NV with her husband Dale. She was a very active member in the Eagle Forum, teaching classes on the US Constitution in her school district, and was a Past President of the Women's Republican Organization of Naples (FL). Norma was a true patriot and loved God and her country.
Norma is survived by her sons, Doug (Anna) Fisher of Yorkville, IL, Dean (Chris) Fisher of Yorkville, IL, David (Kerri) Fisher of Orange, CA, Daniel (Sharen) Fisher of Conifer, CO, and a daughter, Tricia (Joshua) Wolf of Lehighton, PA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a brother, Robert (Barbara) Bowman of Atlanta, GA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April, 28, 2018 at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, 100 Hankes Road, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. A private family burial will take place at the Boalsburg Cemetery in Boalsburg, PA.
