Nicasio E. Zuniga, 80, of Aurora, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home. He was born October 11, 1939 in San Antonio, Solis, Mexico.
Nicasio was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who was sociable, liked to help others, and enjoyed playing the harmonica.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Francisca; eight children: Oliva (Martin) Gutierrez, Silvia (Betzalal) Betanzoz, Eleazar (Guadalupe) Zuniga, Ana (Ignacio) Mondragon, Norma (Guillermo) Aguilar, Ofelia (Jesus) Aguilar, Maria Zuniga and Angelica (Eduardo) Vasquez; twenty two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his siblings: Celia Alcantara, Imelda (Maurilio) Hernandez, Amelia Bautista and Saul (Guadalupe) Zuniga; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armando and Maria (Mendoza) Zuniga; and four brothers: Ruben, Pepe, Rodolfo and Armando Zuniga.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services will be private on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Cremation was accorded the wishes of the family.
