Nancy Jean Geiger of Oswego, IL, has returned to her Heavenly Father January 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 5, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Margaret and Gene Geiger.

Nancy was baptized into the Grace of God on December 12, 1948 and confirmed her faith in April of 1962.

Nancy enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching Hallmark Christmas movies and watching her daughter Jennifer in high school cheer and musical theatre. Nancy was a great supporter of her granddaughters dance competitions and enjoyed her time spent taxiing them to activities and school.

Nancy is survived by her siblings; brother Ken (Donna) and sister Barbara. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren Alexis "Aleigh" McDermott, and Caitlin "Gramcracker" "Catie" McDermott, son-in-law Timothy McDermott, nephews and nieces; Brian (Kim), Brian II, Adam, Lydia, Calista, Corinne and many relatives and dear friends.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Jennifer.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until a funeral service at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2567 West Sullivan Road, Aurora, IL 60506.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
