Nancy Lee Cummins, age 84, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Accentcare & Hospice of Naperville, IL.

She was born December 23, 1937 in Hinsdale, IL, the daughter of Leon Lawrence and Mildred Elizabeth nee Dexter Larson.

Nancy worked as a teacher's aide for Downers Grove School District 99. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering at numerous places including Rush-Copley Medical Center and Churchill Elementary School. She was a member of the Evening Lions Club of Aurora, IL and Oswego Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy Walsh and Kelly (Bob) Patten, grandchildren Kevin (Jenny) Patten, Timothy Patten, Michael Patten and great-grandchild Adeline Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Orbie Cummins and her daughter-in-law Dawn Cullen.

Cremation was performed in accordance with Nancy's wishes.

Services to be held on November 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 IL Route 25, Oswego, IL with burial of the urn to take place in Florida at a future date.
