Modris Frank "Moe" Skuja, of Oswego, IL, died on Monday, December 4, 2017 at The Grove of Fox Valley in Aurora, IL. Moe was born November 20, 1943. He married Patricia (Avezzano) on January 16, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Moe graduated in 1961 from Proviso East in Maywood, IL. Moe joined the US Army and served in Vietnam under the 1st Calvary Division. Moe was a long time resident of Melrose Park. Moe is survived by his children Michelle (James) Rane, Brian (Vicky) Skuja, Sean Skuja, his 10 grandchildren Zachary, Natalie and Dominic Rane, Gavin, Brett, and Devan Skuja, Sam, Gianna, Nicolas and Mia Skuja. Moe loved his wife, family and grandchildren. Although Moe had a very difficult last few years, he always made his family a priority. We will never forget all of the time, sacrifices, and love that he gave to those what were important to him. God bless you and we will never forget the values that you instilled in us. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with Military Honors given at 8:00 PM at Brian Skuja's residence.
