Milton Charles Kolzow, 86, of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019 at Alden Courts of Waterford in Aurora. Milt was born in Hinsdale and resided in Lombard for 34 years. Milt is preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Kolzow. Milt leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Betty "BJ" Kolzow; his two sons, Steve (former spouse Julie Kolzow) and Scott (wife Elizabeth Kolzow); his grandchildren, Kerri (33), Katie (29), Kristy (28), Tyler (22), Justin (20) and his great-granchild, Charles Kolzow (6). In his early years, Milt served in the Army during the Korean War and was a volunteer fire fighter for the Village of Lombard. Milt then worked for the phone company (Illinois Bell/AT&T) for 35 years before retiring at the age of 55. He met his wife in 1957 at the Forest Park bowling alley and were then married in 1958. Milt spent many happy years with his wife and family up in Lake Carroll before moving to Batavia where he and his wife resided for 15 years. There will only be a small private family gathering to say goodbye. Milt was passionate about the organization Salvation Army after being in the service.
