Mildred Ruth Truxes, age 97, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Thursday, October 13, 2016. She was born April 29, 1919 in Lincoln, NE, the daughter of David and Erma nee Beddeo Harris. Mildred owned the Truxes Company and was a member of the Saybrook Garden Club. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, walking and shopping at the mall. She loved to take care of her family. She is survived by her children William (Susan) Truxes, III of Park City, UT, Kathleen (Ron) Snow of Montgomery, IL, Susan Betz of Yorkville, IL, Carolyn (Dennis) Frantzen of Yorkville, IL, Deborah (Kelly) Hagberg of Oswego, IL, Robert (Evelyn) Truxes of Chanler, AZ, 11 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren and a sister Beulah Keane of Pacoima, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Truxes, Jr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
