Mildred Bennett Kelley, of Aurora, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 96, with her family by her side.

Millie was born in Philadelphia in 1929 to the late Samuel Bennett and Mary Jane Ott. She married John (Jack) P. Kelley in 1951, and together they raised five children. They were blessed to share 61 years of marriage until Jack's passing in 2012. In addition to her husband, Millie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Kelley.

She is survived by her children Victoria (Wayne) Schneider, John P. "Jack" Kelley Jr. (Bridget), William Kelley (Cynthia), Timothy Kelley (Trisha), and Nancy Kelley; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A devoted wife and mother, Millie dedicated her life to her family as a stay-at-home mom, raising her five children with love and patience. She was a longtime resident of Wheaton for over 40 years before retiring to Oswego and, most recently, Aurora. Millie found great joy in gardening, traveling, and spending time with her long-time friends. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Millie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
