Mildred Mae "Millie" Greene age 90 of Oswego, at rest peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

She was born in Sandwich, IL on July 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Milfred E. and Edith M. nee Brownfield Wicks.

Millie enjoyed working in her yard and attending to her beautiful flowers. She was an avid walker who was well known for her daily jaunts around Oswego. Her "Sun room" was her favorite sitting area on nice days. Some called her the heartbeat of Oswego and she will be greatly missed.

Millie is survived by her two children, Susanne Petkus and Gary (Connie) Greene. grandchildren, Kaitlyn Petkus, Christopher Petkus, Kristina (Rob) Greene and William (Diana) Greene. And great grandchild, Violet Petkus.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greene and sister, Myrna Shambaugh.
