Michael K. D'Argo, age 56, of Yorkville, IL passed away on August 6, 2023 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Mike was born September 19, 1966, in Chicago, IL, the son of Irene (Marek) and Kenneth D'Argo of Des Plaines, IL.

Mike was a graduate of Maine West High School. He married Pam (Eastman) on December 1, 1990 in Glen Ellyn, IL. They were married for 32 wonderful years and blessed with twins, Lauren and Eric, in January of 1998 and Nick in March of 2000. Pam and Mike moved to Oswego, IL in 2005 to build their home and family life. Mike loved the Oswego community and soon became a very involved member of it. As a member and deacon of the Oswego Presbyterian Church, he helped spearhead many initiatives over the years. As a Boy Scout Leader and Scoutmaster of Troop 48 for 10+ years he mentored and led many groups of boys. He made a significant contribution to the Oswego High School music department and had a big hand in Commotion (show choir). He truly brought a unique creative mindset to everything he did. Mike was everyone's biggest supporter. He not only attended all his children's sporting events, from cross country to football to track and field, but often coached the teams as well.

His interests included musicals, music, board games, camping, fishing, woodworking, and nature. His career began in the banking and mortgage lending industries, but over the last 14 years he had a strong presence in the energy industry. Most recently, he was a Field Consultant for Sunrun, and before that worked for GDS Associates and CLEAResult (formerly Applied Proactive Technologies).

He truly enjoyed helping others and took great satisfaction in his work. As an organ donor, his final gift to the Gift of Hope tissue program ensures that his desire to help others will continue long after his death.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D'Argo and his mother, Irene D'Argo; his mother-in-law, Marcia Eastman and sister-in-law, Lynn Sutton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam D'Argo, and his children, Lauren, Eric, and Nick D'Argo; his two siblings Lisa (Robert) Konieczka and Laura (Greg) D'Argo; his niece, Rebecca (Kevin) Jones and nephew, Brad Konieczka; his father-in-law, Richard Eastman; his brother-in-law Bryan (Donna) Eastman and their children: Zach (Alex) Eastman, Dan Eastman, Alex Gadomski, Chris Gadomski, Lauren Gadomski; his brother-in-law David (Tracy) Eastman.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 12:30pm-4:30pm at Dunn Family Funeral Home, 1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543. A service/celebration of life will be held at 4:30pm.
