Maxine L. Coyle, age 89, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

She was born September 7, 1935, in Cardwell, MO, the daughter of Edgar E. and Nannie Mae nee Holland Green.

Maxine was an active member of the Church of Christ in Sycamore, IL. She enjoyed quilting and loved to travel. She worked as a Shake lady at Oswego High School, where her line was always long. She was always smiling and was kind to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Tim (Jamie) Coyle, Kim (Brad) Burkhart, grandchildren Tim Winter, Amy (Kyle) Winter, Barry, Cory and Ethan Hassell, Kyle (Collin) Burkhart, Rachel (Reiner) Ebarle, great-grandchildren Ajori, Weston, Oriyah and Remington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas "Tom" Coyle and brothers Arvill and Stanley.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM until a memorial service at 6:30 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
