Mary L. (Dressel) Sweeney, 84, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Alden Estates of Naperville. She was born February 15, 1932, the daughter of the late Sylvester A. and Cecilia W. Howard Dressel. She married Frank M. Sweeney on August 8, 1959 in Ironton, Ohio. He preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her children Barbara Sweeney of Aurora, Katherine (Tim) Poe of Downers Grove, William (Christine) Sweeney of Montgomery, Carol Mittman of Oswego, John (Rhonda) Sweeney of Dublin, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
