Mary Christine Pelengaris, age 64, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born July 27, 1954 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of the late Charles and Betty (nee) Hughes Schram. Prior to her retirement in 2011, Mary worked in the respiratory therapy field for 30 years. She began her career at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington, IL, and spent her final 15 years at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Mary was highly respected by her colleagues and received countless letters of appreciation from patients and families throughout her career. Mary attended Big Life Community Church in Oswego, IL. She is survived by her husband Paul A. Pelengaris of Aurora, IL, sons Michael (Kristen) Doggett of Oswego, IL, Brian Doggett of Bloomington, IL, grandchildren Jacob & Riley Doggett, Xyla Ensign, sisters Nancy, Tena, Charlene, Sharon & Linda, and a brother Charles Schram. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1:00 PM until a memorial service at 3:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
