Mary Louise Albright, age 97, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice Center in Bentonville, AR.

She was born August 26, 1927 in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Homer and Bessie Louise nee Schamp Scovil.

Mary graduated from the Copley School of Nursing in 1948 and spent her whole career in the nursing field, retiring in 1992 as the school nurse for Aurora University. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Montgomery, IL. Mary was a very talented woman, mastering the piano and tole painting. She was a stickler for detail, and it shows in all the work she did as a seamstress and quilter.

She is survived by her children Kathleen Louise (Albright) Stoffel, Robert G. (Judy) Albright, grandchildren Lucas (Barb) Albright, Benjamin (Anna) Albright, great-grandchildren Nicholas, Alexander and Liberty Albright, sister Dorothy Barranger, niece Debbie Barranger, and great-nephew Nathan Barranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert H. Albright, brother-in-law David Barranger, son-in-law Anton Stoffel and nephew Douglas Barranger.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM until a funeral service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.

Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery, IL.
