Martin F. Wildermoth, 88, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Montgomery, NY, to the late Martin and Barbara (Meiselsach) Wildermoth. Martin proudly served in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge, he worked as a truck driver with Illinois Bell until his retirement. Later in life, he took a job as a security guard; when not working, he enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Dano) Wildermoth, and his three children, Joseph (Tracy) Kearns, John (Sandra) Kearns, and Kris (Traci) Kearns. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Mindy, Brandon, Aaron, Abigail, Jeremy, and Melissa; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Barbara Wildermoth. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory at 1801 S. Douglas Rd.
