Marlene R. Woods, 85, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late James and Ruth nee Scholl Crider. Marlene is survived by her children Dennis (Carol) Woods, Diane (Michael) Coons, and Sharon Sorsen; grandchildren Nicole Woods, Bethany (Derrick) Cato, Jonathan (fiancée Teresa Sherman-Jones) Coons; great-grandchildren Bailee and Hannah Cato, Robin Coons, Alexander and Nathaniel Sorsen. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Woods and a brother James Crider. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held from 2:00 – 2:30 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL, 60543. The service will be followed by a visitation from 2:30 - 5:00 P. M. Private burial will take place at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton.
