Marla S. Weasler, age 73, of Oswego at rest April 25, 2023, at Rush Copley Medical Center.

She was born July 7, 1949, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Russell and Emma Smith Thurber.

She was the purchasing agent for the City of Aurora with 15 years of service. Marla was a proud member of the Red Hats, and she was very interested in genealogy and enjoyed crafts.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Oran J. Weasler, children Erika (Jason Wilson) Miller, Brian (Anny) Bierman, Lori (Chuck) Myer, Jennifer Myer and step-daughter Kim Harrison, grandchildren Hannah (Kevin) Koch, Calab and Elijah Miller, Emma Wilson, Benjamin, Peter and William Bierman, Christopher and Ann Emmons, Tiffany, Brandy and Holly Myer.

Marla is preceded in death by her parents and sister Rose Walker.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church 2567 W. Sullivan Road Aurora, IL 60506.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY.
