Helen Grace Markham, age 75, of North Aurora, IL died Friday, May 24, 2013 at North Aurora Care Center in North Aurora, IL. She was born January 13, 1938 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late William and Elnora nee Pearce Burks. Prior to Helen's retirement she had worked as a telegraph operator for Western Union and in the finance department of Block & Kuhl department store in Aurora, IL. Survivors include two son Gary and Norbert Poss both of Aurora, IL; siblings John (Donna) Burks, Hazel (Daniel) Smith, Nancy Schuler , James (Judy) Burks, Bill (Carol) Burks, Marjorie (Dick) Zieter, Don (Judie) Burks, Elnora Schuler, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Norbert Poss, second husband Percy Markham, sister Barbara Burks, two brothers Robert and Jerry Burks. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery, IL.
