Mark Daniel Brackett, Sr., age 55, of Montgomery, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born April 19, 1963 in Aurora, IL, the son of Robert Allen and Sylvia Ann nee Anderson Brackett, Sr. Mark was a hard-working, devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He was a life-time member of the Aurora Turners Club in Aurora, IL, where he played and managed softball for many years. Mark loved all sports, especially the World Champion Chicago Cubs. He showed his love for his grandchildren by spending all his spare time with them and being involved in all aspects of their lives. Family was his first priority, but he would have done anything for anyone. He is survived by his parents, children Paul (Lauren) Middleton of Yorkville, IL, Lauren (Adam) White of Wheaton, IL, Mark Brackett, Jr. of Montgomery, IL, grandchildren Emma, Owen, Nolan, Sullivan, Mia, sister Diana (Gus) Billos, brothers Robert (Patty) Brackett, Jr., Scott (Lori) Brackett, Steve (Christine) Brackett, Barry (Anita) Brackett, the mother of his children and dear friend Lori (Christian) Federman and many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A funeral service will be on Friday. June 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family of Mark Brackett, Sr., P.O.
