Marie F. Polanin, 92, of Oswego, IL peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Tiller's Nursing Home in Oswego, IL. She was born May 20, 1923, in Kansas City, Mo, the daughter of the late Harry L. and Johanna nee Wolters Zents. Marie worked as a secretary for Country Company Insurance in Omaha, NE, Douglas Aircraft in Omaha, NE and at Western Union in Chicago, IL. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. She is survived by her daughter Spring (Terrence) Richards of Oswego, IL, son Rick (Terryl) Polanin of Metamora, IL, and grandchildren Joshua (Megan) Polanin of Washington, D.C., Shana (David) Kirshtner of Montgomery, IL, Bradley Polanin of Springfield, IL, Meagan Richards of Chicago, IL, Sean Richards of Oswego, IL and Krista Polanin of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Polanin, brother Leo Zents and a sister Virginia Zents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543.
