Marie Lillian De Somer, 82, of Millington, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL, to the late Benjamin and Elsie (Herman) Murphy. Marie loved her family, friends, and our Lord Jesus. She enjoyed writing poetry, playing games, doing puzzles, and she cherished having family around her as much as she could. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Arthur Joseph De Somer, her daughters Thea and Denise, and her sons Arthur and Dirk. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Timothy, Chris, Jessica, Daniel, Nichole, Nickolas, Autumn, Skyler, and Addison; and her great-grandchildren, Owen, Dominic, Wyatt, Van, and Sam. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Elsie Murphy, and her son Clifford. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. with the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S.
