Mariana Lechuga, age 80, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL.  She was born February 6, 1938 in Mexico, the daughter of Jesus and Guadalupe nee Carrasco Sandoval. Mariana attended St. Rita of Cascia in Aurora, IL.  She was a homemaker and loved her family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing games and puzzles with her grandchildren She is survived by her husband of 61 years Antonio Lechuga, children Norma Minnis, Maria L. Brummel, Isabel Lechuga, Otilia (Edgar) Gonzalez, Nora (Steve) Thiel, Ortenica (Ron) Becker, Maria (Robert) Taylor, Irma Lechuga, grandchildren Anthony Brummel, Ashlii Brummel, Jennifer Minnis, Vanessa Minnis, Edgar Gonzalez, Analiy Gonzalez, Kristen Becker, Kaitlyn Becker, Hannah Thiel, Michael Thiel, Ryan Taylor, Isabelle Taylor, great-grandchildren Jason, Jocelyn, Nevaeh, Janessa, Justin, sisters Justa, Enriqueta (Domingo), Marcela (Adan) and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Angela, Isidro, Jesus, Jose, son-in-laws Bruce Brummel and David Minnis. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
