Margaret "Maggie" Ireland, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Rush-Copley Medical Center with daughter Dawn by her side. Born to the late Fred and Margaret Ireland, November 8, 1951 in Chicago, where she resided most her life and raised her daughter as a single mom. If you were to ask her what her greatest achievements were, it would have undoubtedly been being a mom and grandma! She was a much-loved mom of Dawn (Jeff) Hunt, and treasured grandma to Brandon and Meghan Hunt, and embraced every moment with them! She acquired lifelong friends growing up and residing in Chicago through school, work, bowling leagues and the neighborhood she raised her daughter in, and would like to mention Vickie, Shirley, Sherry, Rose, Janice and the whole Dunterman family! She was known for her kindness and compassionate and feisty spirit and had a knack for telling it like it is! All who loved her dearly will never forget her wit, charm, grace and undying love and care for them! Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn (Jeff) Hunt, grandkids, Brandon and Meghan Hunt, 2 nieces, Tammy Reid and Candy Atkinson, and many extended friends and family.
