Margaret Lynn Gowran, age 75, of Aurora, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 26, 1940 in Elgin, IL the daughter of Lyman E. and Grace nee Stephens Marquis. Prior to her retirement, Margaret worked as a nurse's aide for Bethesda Lutheran Home in Aurora, IL. She is survived by her son Kent (Sarah) Gowran of Chicago, IL, granddaughter Lila Gowran of Chicago, IL, a sister Kathy (Ken) Krogh of Elgin, IL and a brother Thomas Marquis of IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Gowran, son John Paul Gowran and a sister Patricia Robbins.
