Marcia Ann DeWitt, age 65, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born May 20, 1953 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Douglas and Shirley (Fechner) Foster. Prior to her retirement, Marcia worked at Traughber & Plank Junior High Schools in Oswego, IL as a Secretary for 31 years. She was a member of graduating class of Oswego Community High School class of 1971 and even served as Senior Class President. In her spare time, Marcia was involved in Daughters of the American Revolution of Aurora, IL, and an active member of the Oswego Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband (whom she married on February 29, 1972) Leslie "Les" "Herm" DeWitt of Oswego, IL, children Duke (Kathy Weilert) DeWitt of Morgan, UT, Molly Hansen of Lafayette, IN, Douglas (Heather Williams) DeWitt of Sandwich, IL., 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father Douglas J Foster and mother Shirley J (Fechner) and her brother Richard "Dick" L. Foster and son-in-law Matthew C. Hansen. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 100 Hankes Road, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.
