Lynne O. Anderson, age 62, of Montgomery, IL died on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born June 19, 1955 in Victorville, CA the daughter of Arthur S. and Judith A. Little Oakford of Peoria, IL. She was employed for 23 years as a teacher's aide at Brokaw Early Learning Center in Oswego, IL prior to her retirement. She was a member of St David's Episcopal Church in Aurora, IL. Lynne is survived by her husband Steven K. Anderson (They were united in marriage on October 1, 1977 in Peoria, IL), three daughters Sarah (Mark) Zameda of Oswego, IL, Katherine (Eric) Sharp of Oswego, IL, Abigail (Nicholas) Gargo of Yorkville, IL, seven grandchildren Benjamin, Vera and Vivian Zameda, Kohl and Maxwell Sharp, Quinn and Landon Gargo, a sister Betsy Paul of Fountain Hills, AZ. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kitty Miller and Susan Champion. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her children/grandchildren and loved supporting them in their various activities. Many lifelong friendships were formed at soccer games and swim meets. Her passion for children was demonstrated through her work and volunteering for Special Olympics. Gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St David's Episcopal Church, 701 N Randall Rd, Aurora, IL 60506 with The Rev Elizabeth G Meade officiating.
