Luke Anthony Kligis, 26, died suddenly on December 28, 2021, at his residence in Chicago, IL. Luke was born May 14, 1995, in Naperville, IL to Michael and Gayle Kligis. Luke graduated Class of 2013 of Waubonsie Valley High School and attained a Bachelor's Degree of Arts from Eastern Illinois University. After graduating he started his first job as a sales engineer for Temperature Equipment Corp. Although only 26 at the time of his death, Luke affected so many people in his lifetime. His friends were the foundation of his life. From t-ball as a young child to volleyball during his high school years, anything he did, he did with his buddies. Luke's charisma was contagious and he could easily shift the energy in a room to liven it up. Luke was committed to his friendships which in turn brought his family more children to love as their own. Lukes loyalty to the Green Bay Packers was undeniable. He never missed an opportunity to support his team however he could. Watching football games with his father, especially in Wisconsin, was something he loved to do. He enjoyed his annual grouse hunting trip in Northern Wisconsin with his father and friends. Luke recently took on a fond interest in cooking and enjoyed bringing new recipes up to Wisconsin to try with his parents. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laceline Kligis, grandfather, Dean White, and close uncle, Pete Kligis. He is survived by his parents; Mike Kligis, Gayle White Kligis, sister Jessica Kligis Baustian, and maternal grandmother Marilyn White. When you think of Luke, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 pm with a memorial service at 5:00 PM and time of sharing at the Dunn Family Funeral Home With Crematory, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
