Louis G. Stahl, 87 of Oswego, IL died Saturday, December 24, 2023 at his residence.

Louis was born November 19, 1936 in Peoria, IL to Harold and Martha nee Henniges Stahl.

He married Kathleen Duffield on December 26, 1959 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henry, IL.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Stahl, his two daughters Luanne (Eric) Bannan of Pittsboro, NC and Amy Stahl of Oswego, IL. Five grandchildren - Zane Bannan and Elijah, Caleb, Jude & Chloe Valero. Three brothers - Ken (Judy) Stahl of Port Ludlow, WA, Bill Stahl of Fort Pierce, FL, David (Eneida) Stahl of Oswego, IL plus many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-laws, Ruby Stahl, Sharon Stahl and Elaine Stahl.

Louis served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Caterpillar after 42 years of employment as a Gear Tech.

A private memorial will take place at a later date with burial in the Henry City Cemetery.
