Louis "Louie" Arthur Dierzen, 53, Newark, died suddenly Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Louie was born June 6, 1963 in Sandwich to Floyd and Ruth Ann (Chapman) Dierzen. He managed Dierzen Trailer Company in Newark since the early 1990s. He had also served as a volunteer fireman for Newark's Fire Protection District and as a board member for Newark Lutheran Church, as well as a member of Ottawa's Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his parents, Floyd & Ruth Ann Dierzen of Newark; his long-time partner and fiancée Joy Wright; children, Carrie (Chad) Stuebinger of Morris, Nick (Lacey) Spencer of Grand Ridge, Maya Wright of home; grandchildren Robert Stuebinger, Margaret Stuebinger, AJ Spencer, Gabe Spencer; three brothers; Ronald Dierzen of Newark, John (Jennifer) Dierzen of Newark, Robert (Nikki) Dierzen of Serena; nephews Adam Dierzen, Caleb Dierzen; nieces Kytrina Garrett, Emma Dierzen, Isabella Dierzen, Madelin Dierzen, Eloise Dierzen; grandnephews, Jayden Brassal, Mythias Garrett; grandniece Amelia Dierzen, as well as many friends and family in Naplate and Ottawa.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm Saturday, May 27th at the Newark Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, at Newark Lutheran Church with Pastor Luke Emerson officiating. Interment will be at the Millington-Newark Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Kratzer, Mike Herring, Tom Richards, Adam Dierzen, Bobby Stuebinger, Caleb Dierzen and Nick Spencer.
