Lonnie Edward Frye, age 78, of Oswego, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022. He was born August 14th, 1943 in Chicago, IL, to the late Edward John Frye and Lena Antionette Ciccio. Lonnie proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Pyro. Lonnie founded Proex, Inc in 1989 and was the President until his retirement in 2008. Lonnie loved and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He always had a smile; his passions were golfing, being the Captain of "Seas the Day", and riding his Harley. He is survived by his wife Beverly of 17 years. Beverly and Lonnie shared a blended family of five children and eleven grandchildren. Lonnie is also survived by three sisters and many beloved in-laws. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at 3:00 pm.
