Lois Jean Law, Age 88, of Oswego, IL at rest Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 24, 1936, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Edward D. and Dorothy L. (nee Rankin) Evans.

She was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Oswego, IL. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the dietary department of Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora, IL.

She is survived by daughter Lynn (Donald) Detzler, and son Scott (Evelyn) Simon, four grandchildren Gracie (Jake) Heinz, Eric (Lesa) Simon, Angela (Keith) Clancy, Jennifer (Kevin) Clancy, nine great-grandchildren, brother Curt (Cheryl) Evans and son-in-law Herman Shryock. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ronald Simon, second husband Richard Law, daughter, Lori Shryock, two brothers Howard H Evans, Ivan Evans, and great grandson Brendan Clancy.

There will be no visitation/services. Cremation rites have been accorded
