Lois D. Gingher, 97, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Franciscan Courts in West Chicago. She was born November 3, 1918 in Chicago, to the late Cornelius and Catherine Hinn Dyker. She married Willard F. Gingher on June 28, 1941 at St. William Church in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1989. Lois was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Aurora, and previously a member of St. William Church in Chicago for 48 years. She was very active with St. William's Women's Club, GEMS of Our Lady of Mercy, and Winchester Women's Club in Winchester, WI. Lois is survived by her daughters Darlene Cody of Aurora, Penny (Bernie) Klotz of Ft. Meyers, FL and Winchester, WI, Gay (Michael) DiGiovanni of Denver, CO; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, grandson Brian Klotz, and 3 sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Brian C. Klotz Memorial Scholarship Fund, or to Our Lady of Mercy Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy of Church, 701 South Eola Road, Aurora, IL 60504.
