Linda B. Glatchak-Anderson, age 64 of Sun City Center, FL, formerly of Yorkville, IL, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. She was born on September 11, 1953 the daughter of Riley and Lorraine nee Gilbert Pinkham. She attended St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. Linda loved to entertain and had a special gift for always making everyone feel at home and loved. She was an amazing cook, the perfect hostess and had great taste in wine. She was a people magnet, drawing everyone near her and making lasting relationships. She loved her family and friends deeply and enjoyed friendships of over 50 years. Linda loved the Florida sun and was excited to spend her retirement there with her husband of 19 years. She was an dedicated Mom who cherished the relationships she had with her children. Linda was a caring and thoughtful Grandma who enjoyed being with her grand-kids every chance she could. Linda was strong in her faith and it gave her comfort. Her laugh was contagious, her spirit was energizing and she will be remembered always. She is survived by her mother, her husband James "Jim" Anderson of Sun City Center, FL, children Shelli (John) Kelsey of Oswego, IL, Brian (Toni) Glatchak of Tampa, FL, step-children Jamie (Andrew) Rosenstein of Los Angles, CA, Justin (Lisa) Anderson of Arlington Heights, IL, Jeanine Dachel of Eau Clair, WI, grandchildren Emmerson, Brody, Logan & Isabelle Kelsey, Kristina, Connor, Carson & Cameron Dachel, Max Wolfe, sisters Kathy Brucato, Carol (Greg) Wolen, Ellen (Paul) Nafziger and a brother Bill (Sue) Pinkham. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will be private.
