Linda Kay Ellison, 67, of Sheridan passed Sunday morning, July 12, 2015 at the Morris Hospital. Linda was born August 25, 1947 in Ottumwa, IA. To Lloyd B. & Mary Kathryn (Hunt) Wright. She is survived by her companion, Ron Ellison of Sheridan; her children, Bobbie (Brad) Fenton of Mechanicsville, IA., Mary (Larry) Boyd of Davenport, IA., Pam Sims of Davenport, Jennifer (Mike) Becker of Ottawa, Billy Gilbert of Bettendorf, IA.: a step-daughter, Shelly (Bill) Clardy of Springfield; a step-son, Brian (Sue) Ellison of Davenport; eight grandchildren, Cory Fenton, Jamie Meyer, Jessica Meyer, Julie Meyer, Audrey Gilbert, Michael Becker, Danielle Skrogstad, Ryan Steiger; eleven great grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Dixie) Wright of Ottumwa, Wayne (Robin) Wright of Ottumwa and Donald (LuAnn) Wright of Port Byron. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda was a very caring & loving person whose greatest joy was being with her children & grandchildren and spending her winters in Arizona. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 16th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. followed by a dinner, at the Sheridan American Legion. Memorials may be directed to the family.
