Liliane Roman, age 77, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born October 13, 1939 in Haiti the daughter of Roger and Georgette nee Delinois Fils-Amie. She worked for many years as a secretary for Hines VA Hospital. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL and the Red Hat Society. She collected elephants (trunks up) and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Roman of Oswego, IL, children Daphnee (David) Gleason of Lisle, IL, Hans Thevenot of NY, Ralph (Dianne) Thevenot of Roselle, IL, Brigitte (Pierre) Cavalli of Switzerland, Guylene (Kris) Johnson of CA, grandchildren David, Paul & Adam Gleason, Julianna Thevenot, Amanda & Ryan Krausfeldt, Matteo, Thomas & Noah Cavalli, Alex Johnson, great-grandchildren Isaac Gleason and Rock Krausfeldt, sisters Elsie (Gerard) Agnant of FL, and Joelle Fils-Aime of Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Denise Fils-Aime.
