Lewis E Heap, 88 years, of Oswego, IL died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1928 in Aurora, IL the son of the late Clifford and Evelyn nee Cherry Heap. He was the owner of Heap Construction Co. and the developer of Lynwood Subdivision on Route 34 in Oswego, IL. Over the years he built many custom built homes in Kendall County. He was a member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church for over 74 years, ROMEO group of the church, Raven Masonic Lodge #303 A.F. & A.M., Shriners, Lorraine Chapter #70 Order of the Eastern Star, Oswego Lions Club and the Kendall County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife Mary nee Marshall Heap, two daughters Linda Dean of Downers Grove, IL, Wendy Held of Oswego, IL, two sons Terry (Denise) Heap of Oswego, IL, Douglas (Susan) Heap of Oswego, IL, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Ellen Heap, Nancy Heap and brother David (Peggy) Heap. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 3:00 until a Masonic service by Raven Masonic Lodge at 7:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Oswego Presbyterian Church 1976 Route 25 Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will take place at the Oswego Township Cemetery.
