Frances Anne Leonard, age 69, of Montgomery, IL died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Seasons Hospice of West Lake Hospital in Melrose Park, IL. She was born April 26, 1944, the daughter of Alvin Edward and Vera Elizabeth nee Francis Grensky. She worked many years as an owner of a cleaning company and was a long time member of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Aurora, IL. More than anything, Fran treasured her family; especially her grandsons. Fran had the ability to make instant friends with the people she met and she will be loved and missed by all. She is survived by her mother Vera Robertson of Oswego, IL, son US Army Major Andrew (Emily) Scafidi of Clayton, NY, grandsons Gavin, Aidan and Devan Scafidi of Clayton, NY, brother Dr. Randy Robertson of TN, aunt Nan Kasarda of TX, nephew Ian Robertson, niece Stacy Robertson, many cousins and she was blessed with many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her step-father Harlin Robertson, her father Alvin Grensky and a brother Michael Grensky. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 12 noon, February 7, 2014, at the Fourth Street United Methodist Church, 551 South Fourth Street, Aurora, IL 60505.
