Lena M Ready, age 86, of Hinckley, IL died Friday, June 25, 2021 at Bickford of Aurora, IL. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A gentle woman with a beautiful smile will be missed by many. She was born May 9, 1935 in Ravenden Springs, AR the daughter of the late Thomas M and Lula Mae Smith. Prior to her retirement in 1988 she was employed as a tester at Western-Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies in Montgomery, IL. She is survived by a daughter Sherry (Steve) Michael, son Mark (Christal) Ready; five grandchildren Jason Michael, Ryan (Alex) Michael, Kyle Michael, Jacob (Hayley) Ready, Katie Ready; six great grandchildren (with one on the way) Corbin Michael, Ella Michael, Camden Michael, Noah Michael, Selah Ready, Shiloh Ready; brother Butler Smith and several niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Ready, five sisters and three brothers. Private service for immediate family will be forthcoming.
