Lee H Jackson, age 83, of Montgomery, IL died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born September 29, 1933 in Earle, AR the son of the late Jenus and Pearl (Hall) Jackson.
He served his country honorably with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked at AT&T (formerly known as Western-Electric and Lucent) in Montgomery, IL for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1988. He was an avid bowler in the Aurora, IL area for many years where he received an award for a 209 average from the Aurora Bowling Association. He played softball with the Western-Electric team in the Aurora softball industrial league.
He is survived by his wife of, sixty years, Jamie (Bryson) Jackson, a son Rick (Connie) Jackson, a grandson Ryan L Jackson, and a brother Herbert Jackson. He was also preceded in death by four brothers John, Edward, Jimmy and Jackie Jackson.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial with military honors will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
