Lee A. Bee, 74, of Montgomery, IL, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1946 in Aurora, Illinois. Lee attended both East Aurora and West Aurora High Schools, graduating from West in 1964. He was an Army veteran of Viet Nam, actively serving from 1965-1967, and was Honorably discharged in 1971. Lee was employed by Barber Greene for 18 years and by West Aurora School District for 19 years until his retirement in 2007. His passions in life included following the Chicago Cubs and Bears, Nascar, WWF Wrestling, fishing and camping. Lee was a man of few words, was loved by many, and adored his children. Lee is survived by his children, Carrie (Brad) Turnquist and Mark Bee; grandchildren: Leah Turnquist, Clayton (Maddie) Bee and Paige (Spencer) Cushing; great grandchildren: Lilliana Ceja and her father Jorge Ceja, Mia Johnson, Elsa Cushing and Evan Cushing; brother, Richard (Bonnie Kinder) Bee; sisters: Diane (Dan) Falkos, Carol (Dave) Blom and Nancy (the late Van) Shamblin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his special friend of many years, Jane Coffey; and the Dillard family. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Bee; his mother, Doris (Wilkinson) Bee; his father, Richard Bee; brother, Howard Bee; and step-father, Peter Koulos.
