LaVerne M. Klima, age 87, formerly of Mesa, AZ, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at Alden of Waterford in Aurora, IL. She was born February 13, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Michael B. and Vera A. Nies. LaVerne is survived by her daughter Andrea (Michael) Mann of Oswego, IL, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Gary) Stelmaszek and Kristin Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Klima, and her son, Andrew M. Allen. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in the Joachim Chapel of St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL.
