Laura Kay Knuth, age 70, of Montgomery, IL died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 21, 1947 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late George William and Dorothy Ann nee Kramer Clementz. Laura was a member of the Class of 1965 of Madonna High School in Aurora, IL. She was Supervisor ~ Woman in Charge for P/C Electric Company in Aurora, IL for 40 years. She was a member of St Anne Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, and was involved in many charity events through her membership with the Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, St Anne Council #16720. Laura had a great love for music and will never walk alone. She is survived by two sons Gerard (Dianne) Knuth and Michael Knuth, a granddaughter Alana Knuth all of Aurora, IL, three sisters Mary (Richard) Gardner of Aurora, IL, Sarah (Norbert) Weber of Montgomery, IL, Martha Lage of North Aurora, IL, seven brothers George Douglas (Joy) Clementz of Oswego, IL, Peter (Toni) Clementz of Sugar Grove, IL, Gregory (Denise) Clementz of Oswego, IL, Patrick (Diane) Clementz of Belvidere, IL, Samuel (Barbara) Clementz of Aurora, IL, Michael (Lynda) Clementz of St Charles, IL, Christopher (Jean) Clementz of Lakeville, MN, also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerard M Knuth, brother Mark Clementz, and brother-in-law Gregory Lage. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 11:00 AM until a time of sharing at 12:00 noon at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543. Laura's body was donated for the advancement of medical science.
