William J Kulinski, age 92, of Oswego, IL died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 21, 1922 in Chicago, IL the son of the late John and Julia nee Barlow Kulinski. Bill served his country honorable with the US Army during World War II in Central Burma. He was a member of the American Legion for many years. He recently was a very proud participant along with other World War II veterans in the Honor Flight Chicago. Bill was a mechanical design engineer with Sargent & Lundy Consulting Engineers in Chicago, IL for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1984. Bill is survived by his wife Irene V nee Purchla Kulinski; a daughter Christine (Gary) Gadzinski of Wheaton, IL, two sons Kenneth Kulinski of Aurora, IL, Steven (JoAnne) Kulinski of Larkspur, CO; four grandchildren Greg Gadzinski, Ryan Kulinski, Jennifer (Christopher) Bui, Anne Kulinski; a great granddaughter Keyla Kulinski and a sister Frieda (Henry) Gosciniak of Naperville, IL. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:15 p.m. at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Interment will take place at Risen Lord Cemetery in Oswego, IL with military honors by the US Army.
