Kristine Cox, 70, of Oswego, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora. Formerly of Ottawa, IL, she was born to Mary Lou (nee Liex) and Ralph Parr. Kristine was a long time member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Oswego, along with her husband, Lawrence. Kris was also a dedicated volunteer at the Oswego Senior Center, where she made many strong friendships, some of whom she and Larry would go line dancing with. She also enjoyed travelling and making ceramics. Most of all, Kristine loved her family and spending time with them. Kristine is survived by her husband, Lawrence Cox, and her children, Angela (Shawn) Bateman, Mark (Alica) Cox, and Keith (Katie) Cox. She is also survived by her grandchildren Zoey Mumley, Nash Cox, Alexis Cox, and Jack and Leona Bateman; and her great-grandchildren, Ariel and Asher. Also surviving are her sisters, Cheryl (Larry) Wood, and Sue Parr. Kristine is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Lou, and her son Matthew. A visitation will take place on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory 1801 S. Douglas Rd. Oswego, IL 60543 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543 at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow at Pearce Cemetery in Oswego.
