Kolas Sr., Thomas 61, of Oswego, Illinois passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 14, 1952 to the late Robert John and Dorothy (Besdon) Kolas. Tom was a loyal family man. He loved his family and cared for others before himself. He enjoyed working on old trucks and going to the casinos. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Kolas. He is survived by a son, Thomas Kolas, Jr., of Baxter, Minnesota; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carrie Burdette of Pensacola, Florida, Adrienne and Martin Fassbinder of Geneva, Illinois, Kathleen and Brian Hiles of Romeoville, Illinois; his loving companion, Debbie Fischer of Oswego, Illinois; one brother, Robert Thomas Kolas of Oswego, Illinois; two sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Mauter of Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Carol and Chuck Fletcher of Idaho Springs, Colorado; and 12 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Dunn Family Funeral Home, 1801 Douglas Rd., Oswego, Illinois.
