Khoumphol "Tia" Xayarath, age 63, passed away on April 11, 2019 at Rush Copley Medical Center. He was born on December 17, 1955 in Laos, a son to Khamphone and Khamngao Xayarath. Khoumphol married his beloved Phouthasone (Saykonsa) Xayarath in September 2010 in Laos. He worked at Johnson Controls where he worked as a manufacturer. Tia loved singing and playing the drums. He was also an avid soccer fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending his time with his son Justin. He is survived by his wife Phouthasone Xayarath; his son, Justin P. Xayarath; five sisters, Chanthone Dechalert, Kaysone (My) Thavorn, Saysamone (yarath) Youmagul, Bangone Xayarath, Kinnalone (Phayboun) Duangdara; three brothers, Thinnakone (Lan) Xayarath, Keooudone (Ketsarinh) Xayarath, Davone (Toui) Xayarath; fifteen nieces and nephews, along with fourteen great nieces and nephews. A Buddhist funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Rd. Oswego, IL 60543.
