Berniece R. Kerwin, 85, of Oswego, IL died Friday, May 3, 2013, at home. She was born November 14, 1927 in Streator, IL to the late Frank and Julia Kalata. She was an original vendor at the Oswego Country Market. She is survived by her children, Debra (Ron) Jordan of Granger, IN, Dennis Kerwin of Simpsonville, SC, and Donald (Cheryl) Kerwin of Oswego, IL; grandchildren Nicole (Roy) Smith, Michael Jordan, Mathew Jordan, Dennis Kerwin and Alexandra Kerwin; great granddaughters Katelyn and Aubrey Smith; sisters, Marie (the late Stanley) Kedzior, Lorraine (James) Steffgen, Julianne Kalata and the late Dorothy Kalata, and brother Edward (the late Nancy) Kalata. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 6, 2013 from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr.
